Quantcast seeks a talented devops engineer to improve, maintain and monitor our global, high-traffic website. More importantly, perhaps, we are looking for someone that understands the importance of both the development and operations disciplines in order to successfully facilitate a reliable, iterative release and deployment process characteristic to a fast-paced startup.
The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience maintaining mission-critical web applications and tuning various underlying services. They will be a tools builder at heart, creating automation for redundant tasks and to ensure a rapid, smooth release cycle. This person will be a process- champion, confident in their ability to get team buy-in to do things the right way.
This is an opportunity to be one of the founding members the website DevOps team at Quantcast, to implement many processes using innovative and cutting- edge devops techniques, and, ultimately, to have a major impact on the success of our large-scale web applications and their development.
