March Engineering Update

In March, our engineering team poured significant effort into refining our existing platform while simultaneously making strides toward alpha/beta tests of our newest (soon-to-be-announced) product. On the platform side, we focused on improving login/logout flows, fixing a persistent Metabase “no space left” error, and squashing bugs that affected pagination and work log email links. These improvements boost reliability and deliver a smoother overall experience for users.

To further streamline development and deployment, we adopted container build pipelines, introduced Nomad Pack job spec templates, and set up RDS databases for production and staging environments. These infrastructural upgrades help make our deployments more efficient and less prone to unexpected issues.

Meanwhile, we made notable headway on the upcoming product, securing a dedicated domain and incorporating features like batch GitHub imports, repository/contributor filters, and WebSocket support. Though we’re still keeping detailed specifics under wraps, the progress made this month puts us firmly on track for successful alpha/beta phases in the near future.

Looking ahead, we’ll continue refining, testing, and polishing all of these efforts. We’re excited about the foundation laid in March and look forward to sharing more details once we’re closer to launch.
